Multiple residents in Washington Parish are displaced after a fire at the Riverview Apartments.
The Washington Parish Office of Homeland Security and Emergency Preparedness says all of the residents were safely evacuated.
The American Red Cross was able to open a shelter for the residents at the Franklinton High School gym, and they have since been moved to Hillcrest Baptist Church.
Washington Parish officials are working with the apartment to ensure all residents can return to the apartment safely.
