The Tangipahoa Water District has issued a limited precautionary boil advisory for the Bon Aire Subdivision.
Water pressure dropped during a repair of a leak on the 6-inch main, causing the advisory to be issued.
All customers are recommended to disinfect their water before consuming it, making ice, brushing teeth or using for food preparation.
Boil water for one full minute in a clean container. The one-minute timer begins after the water has been brought to a rolling boil.
