More breezy conditions and warm weather is expected for your Friday.
Winds will be out of the east at 5-15 mph with highs reaching the upper 70s to low 80s.
We could have a couple of spotty showers to the west of New Orleans this afternoon, but most places will stay dry.
Lows overnight will fall to the 60s with dry conditions.
Highs for the weekend will reach the low 80s with partly cloudy skies.
Humidity will also be on the rise throughout the weekend to next week as winds start to shift out of the south. This won’t be oppressive humidity, but you will be able to feel the difference.
Looking ahead to next week, there does not appear to be any great chances for rain in the forecast. We’ll stay mostly dry and above average with highs possibly reaching the mid 80s.
