A new musical experience is coming to the French Quarter, and opening day is exactly one week out.
There is an all-local cast of musicians and performers for the production called “Last Night at the Rue Bayou.”
It is a love story, a redemption story, and a fight for justice story centered around a matriarch fighting to save the club that she built in honor of her late husband.
Each ticket includes two drinks and a taste of gumbo, making for an experience that is uniquely New Orleans.
Performances take place at Storyville Music Hall and open on April 16. Shows run Thursday to Sunday through May 3.
