The New Orleans Police Department has made an arrest in connection with a deadly shooting in the St. Claude neighborhood.
The shooting happened around 5 p.m. at the intersection of N. Claiborne and Desire Street.
According to police, officers responded to reports of a car crash.
Police found a 41-year-old man inside one of the cars with a gunshot wound to the head.
He was transported to a local hospital, where he later died.
According to police, the suspect was identified as Terrence Leavell.
Leavell is facing charges of manslaughter, possession of firearm or carrying concealed weapon by a person convicted of certain felonies and illegal use of weapons or dangerous instrumentalities.
The victim has not been identified at this time.
