Around 2,000 people in Jefferson Parish are impacted by a Wednesday morning power outage.
Councilman Scott Walker says a dump truck hit a critical triple circuit pole at the corner of Hodgson Ave. and Pickleball Court.
Crews are onsite, preparing to replace the pole in order to restore customers who have been impacted.
According to Walker, there is no estimated time for restoration.
