Some Loranger residents are under a boil water advisory, according to the Tangipahoa Parish Water District.
Storms caused a water main break, which impacted the Eastern Heights Water System.
Those under a boil water advisory include customers living on Hwy 1054 South from Hwy 16 to Vicari Road; including connecting roads/streets: Saragusa Road, Clement Road, Alexander Road, Toney Road, Golf Course Road, N. Populis and S. Populis.
Customers living in these areas should boil their water for a full minute before using or consuming it.
Tangipahoa Water District will rescind the boil water advisory once water samples are tested and deemed safe.
Anyone with questions should call Tangipahoa Water District at 985-345-6457.
