There is a heavy police presence in Central City Friday morning.
According to Louisiana State Police, the New Orleans Police Department is conducting an investigation at the intersection of Jackson Avenue and Clara Street.
Louisiana State Police Troop NOLA assisted the NOPD, leading to the arrest of several suspects wanted for a recent homicide, shooting, and carjacking.
It is unclear how many people were arrested.
Our crew on the scene saw patrol cars on scene and says two vehicles were towed.
