The St. Tammany Parish Sheriff’s Office is remembering the life of a fallen deputy one year after his death.
Sgt. Grant Candies died one year ago after he was struck while deploying spike strips during a high-speed case.
Three teenagers were indicted for his death, and their next court date is July 6.
The sheriff’s office posted a tribute video to honor Candies’ life, which included moments from his childhood and career, and also featured his children.
