More than 1,500 people are without power in Uptown New Orleans.
The outage is below St. Charles Avenue near Cadiz Street. Other streets in the outage are Upperline, Prytania, Magazine and Constance Street.
WDSU reached out to Entergy for additional information. They issued the following statement: “Entergy New Orleans is aware of an outage currently impacting approximately 1,700 customers in the Garden District area. Entergy crews are working as quickly and safely as possible to restore service. Cause is under investigation at this time.”
Restoration time is expected around 9 AM.
