A portion of St. Charles Avenue is closed Monday morning after a tree snapped and fell across the roadway.
This is near Hillary Street.
Caution tape now spans the roadway, and drivers are being asked to take an alternate route.
The tree came down as a strong cold front pushed into the metro area early Monday morning.
