Crimestoppers Greater New Orleans is asking for the public’s help locating a suspect sought in a deadly hit-and-run.
Crimestoppers is looking for Manmeet Singh, 30, who is accused in a deadly hit-and-run in St. John the Baptist Parish.
The crash happened in September 2025 on Interstate 10.
Singh is accused of driving head-on into opposing traffic and striking another car.
The driver of that car, Patricia Saidu, died from her injuries in the crash. Saidu was a chemistry graduate at Xavier University on a pre-med track.
Singh was taken to University Medical Center in serious condition, but was later released.
The Louisiana State Police conducted an investigation and now believe Singh ran away to Tangipahoa Parish.
He is now believed to be in either California, New York, New Jersey or India.
