The Ponchatoula community is working to salvage a piece of history after a fire Monday evening.
The Twin Steeples Creative Arts Center was struck by lightning and caught fire.

The center posted new photos of the damage on social media.
The center said it is grateful for the community’s support, and an online fundraiser has already raised more than $4,000 toward the center’s recovery.
