One homeowner in New Orleans is experiencing flooding after a water main break Uptown.
Water was seen gushing into the streets on South Carrollton Avenue and Panola Street due to a water main break.
Video from inside the home shows water throughout the home.
A boil-water advisory is in effect for the East Bank of New Orleans.
Sewerage and Water Board of New Orleans Executive Director Randy Hayman said they are aware of the leak and are working to repair it.
“The area of the break was in the process of being repaired, but work had to be paused because of the 30-inch break on Magnolia,” he said.
This marks the fifth break within the Sewerage and Waterboard system since late January.
