A security camera captured the moment a 4.9 earthquake rattled parts of North Louisiana Thursday.
The United States Geological Survey first reported a magnitude 4.4 earthquake Thursday morning in Red River Parish.
The USGS has since upgraded it to a magnitude 4.9 quake.
Video from a Shreveport home security camera captured the moment the quake rattled the home.
The quake happened around 5:30 a.m. in the community of Edgefield, Louisiana, about an hour south of Shreveport.
Earthquakes are not unheard of in Louisiana, but they do not happen often.
