The New Orleans Police Department is investigating a shooting in the Desire neighborhood.
The shooting happened in the 3800 block of Desire Parkway around 9:50 p.m. Friday.
According to police, the victim arrived at the University Medical Center suffering from a gunshot wound to an unknown part of the body. The victim’s condition is currently unknown.
