The New Orleans Police Department is investigating an armed robbery involving a stolen dog.
According to the NOPD, around 1:37 p.m. on Feb. 24 officers responded to the 9300 block of Belfast Street.
When officers arrived, the victims reported that a puppy was taken during the robbery at the intersection of Belfast Street and Monticello Street.
The stolen puppy is described as a 13-week-old brindle Pit Bull mix.
