It’s been seven months since Edna Karr football standout and Ole Miss freshman Corey Adams was gunned down in Memphis, Tennessee.
His death sent shockwaves throughout Memphis, Mississippi, and here at home.
For the first time since his death, his mother is speaking about her son’s tragic death, how it’s taken a toll on her family, and her plea to anyone who could help solve this case.
“I can’t begin to explain to you how much of a good person he was. He was loved by many, and he didn’t deserve to die,” said Chantrel Bernhart, Corey Adams’ mother.
On July 19, 2025, Adams was shot and killed outside of a pool party that ended in a suburb in Memphis, Tennessee.
The FBI is now investigating the shooting of Corey Adams and is offering a $20,000 reward for any information leading to an arrest. If you know anything, contact the FBI.
