Parade goers celebrated Mardi Gras with WDSU.
Mardi Gras parades like Zulu, Rex and Trucks passed St. Charles Avenue and Jackson Avenue while temperatures were about 75 degrees outside. The area is known for being family friendly during parades.
Zulu had a little over 40 floats. Rex had around 30 floats.
Many families said they had been in the area waiting for the parades for hours.
