Voting is now open for the USA Today’s 10Best Reader’s Choice Award contest to name the nation’s top zoo.
For over a century, the Audubon Zoo has called Uptown New Orleans its home, providing a place to learn and appreciate animals.
The Audubon Zoo ranked as the eighth most popular zoo in the country on last year’s list.
All nominees for the award are accredited by the Association of Zoos and Aquariums and are selected by an expert panel of travel professionals and editors for inclusion in the competition.
Audubon Nature Institute CEO Michael J. Sawaya said, “Being honored with this nomination for a decade is a true honor and a tribute to our team’s dedication to making our Zoo one of the best in the country.”
Voting is currently open and anyone can vote once a day to show their support for Audubon Zoo.
