New Orleans police say a man was shot and killed at the intersection of Jackson Avenue and South Derbigny Street in the Sixth Police District.
Police said the man was pronounced dead at the scene early Sunday morning.
Police have not named a suspect or released a motive.
No arrests have been made at this time.
