Five parades roll on the Southshore today!
The heavy rain from earlier this morning has moved out and the much better weather has moved in!
The first parade to roll is Okeanos at 11 a.m. Uptown. After that is Mid-City, Thoth, and then Bacchus at 5:15 p.m. At 6:30 p.m. is Athena in Metairie.
If you’re heading out early to secure a spot, expect clearing skies and temperatures in the mid to upper 60s.
By 11 .m., temperatures will reach the low 70s with mostly sunny skies. It will be windy though! Wind speeds could reach 15 mph with gusts as high at 25 mph.
Highs for today reach the mid 70s!
By the time Bacchus rolls, temperatures will be in the mid to upper 60s.
By the time Athena rolls, temperatures will be in the mid 60s.
For tonight, lows fall to the 50s with lighter winds, but gusts could get up to 20 mph.
Overall, it looks like great parade conditions today!
