The National Weather Service issued a Dense Fog Advisory on Friday.
Thick fog is expected across southeast Louisiana and southern Mississippi starting around midnight and lasting through 9 a.m. Saturday.
Visibility could fall to a quarter mile or less. This can make driving dangerous.
If you must drive:
• Slow down
• Use low-beam headlights
• Leave extra space between you and the car in front
