Many LSU football fans tell WDSU they agree with the decision to fire head coach Brian Kelly, and they hope this change helps the Tigers move forward in the right direction.
“We should’ve fired him last year, he can’t win,” said one fan.
LSU fans are sounding off on the decision to get rid of their head coach.
“I really do feel like he needs to be fired. I mean, LSU has never been this bad,” said one fan.
It comes after the Tigers took a massive 24-point loss against Texas A&M on Saturday, marking their third loss so far this season.
Kelly started his first season as the head coach for the Tigers in 2022 and spent four seasons leading the purple and gold.
Although this chapter has ended, based on Kelly’s contract, he will receive a buyout of $54 million.
LSU fans say they hope this decision helps the Tigers move forward in a better direction with more wins this season.
