The Louisiana State Police are investigating a shooting that injured the Assumption Parish sheriff.
Sheriff Leland Falcon was grazed by a bullet during a shooting incident in Pierre Part, Louisiana, on Bayou Drive.
Another person was also shot during the incident.
The shooting happened as Sheriff Falcon and another deputy attempted to confront a suspect who opened fire.
