Miami jumps to top 3, causing LSU to fall one spot despite win against Southeastern

LSU has fallen out of the top 3 on the AP Top 25 even after their big win against Southeastern Louisiana Saturday.

LSU dropped to the fourth spot after Miami crushed Florida 26-7, making Ohio State, Penn State, and Miami the top three teams in Week 5 of the AP Top 25.

For the first time since Week 1 of the 2025 season, Tulane did not receive any votes after a big loss against Ole Miss.
