The Terrebonne Parish Sheriff’s Office has made two arrests in connection with a 2015 cold case.
According to Sheriff Tim Soignet, two Houma men have been arrested in connection with the killing of Pamela Johnson, 56, of Bourg.
Johnson was killed on Dec. 1, 2015. Two young girls were abducted and found on Wade Street in Houma. At the time of Johnson’s death, the girls reported that a man shot their aunt. The girls were found near Johnson’s car.
Johnson’s body was later found at her home on Country Drive in Bourg. She died from a gunshot wound to the head, according to Soignet.
Soignet announced Wednesday that Charles Johnson, 70, and Shannon Robinson, 43, were arrested in connection with the case.
According to Soignet, new evidence led to their arrests.
Charles Johnson is facing a charge of first-degree murder and solicitation for murder.
Robinson was arrested and is facing charges of first-degree murder, solicitation for murder and aggravated kidnapping.
Both men were booked into the Terrebonne Parish jail and are being held without bond.
According to Soignet, more arrests could be made in the case.
