A Metairie woman has been arrested and accused of stabbing her husband to death.
According to Jefferson Parish Sheriff Joseph Lopinto, Carmella Motley, 65, of Metairie, was arrested in Waggaman.
According to Lopinto, deputies responded to a car crash in the 6000 block of Live Oak Boulevard, where they found a man stabbed to death in a ditch around 10 p.m.
Deputies also found Motley at the scene, who said she was the man’s wife.
According to JPSO, Motley and her husband got into a fight in the car prior to his death.
She faces a charge of second-degree murder.
The identity of Motley’s husband has not been provided.
