A Slidell woman accused of hitting and killing a 6-year-old in Slidell appeared in court Tuesday morning.
Estes bond is set $1,000,000.
If released Estes will be ordered to home incarceration with an ankle monitor with the exception of church, doctor’s appointments, employment and court proceedings.
Connie Noel Estes, 40, of Slidell was arrested Friday evening and charged with felony hit-and-run with death or serious bodily injury and obstruction of justice.
Another person was previously arrested for the deadly hit-and-run but charges have been dropped and he has been released.
