UPDATE: Just after 8:30 p.m., Entergy said all customers have been restored.
The cause is still under investigation.
PREVIOUS: Around 5,000 people are without power in Orleans Parish, according to Entergy’s outage map.
The issue seems to be in the Mid-City and Gentilly area.
