Heavy rain is moving over the New Orleans Metro Wednesday afternoon, and several parishes have reported power outages.
According to Entergy’s power outage map, more than 2,100 customers in Jefferson Parish are without power in the Estelle area.
In Central City, another 2,300 residents are without power.
In Hammond and Independence, Entergy reports more than 8,000 customers without power.
Entergy has not provided an estimated time for restoration.
The New Orleans Metro is under a Flash Flood Warning until 4:30 p.m.
