A Bogalusa man was arrested in Washington Parish for allegedly moving drugs and cellphones in the Washington Parish Jail.
Washington Parish sheriff’s deputies arrested Timothy Charles Pittman after they found cellphones and narcotics during a search of the jail.
They were able to determine that the contraband had been retrieved from a nearby medical center while an inmate was getting medical treatment after being left by Pittman.
A search warrant was issued for his arrest and he was arrested at his home in Bogalusa.
No bond has been set at this time.
