A woman in West Baton Rouge Parish was shocked during a storm Thursday.
According to a report by Louisiana First News, a woman was working on her laptop inside her home in the 400 block of Oakleaf Court when lightning struck outside her house.
The woman was shocked after police say the lightning sent a surge through the laptop plugged into a wall outlet in her home.
According to the report, the woman refused transport to the hospital.
