Below is a parish-by-parish list of sandbag locations ahead of potential flooding from the system.
Terrebonne Parish:
Permanent sandbag stations are open year-round. Residents must bring their own shovels.

St. Tammany Parish:
Out of an abundance of caution, self-service sandbag locations will be available in the following areas starting at noon Wednesday.

- Keller Public Works Barn (63131 Fish Hatchery Road, Lacombe)

New Orleans:
Sandbag locations are set to open Wednesday from 10 AM to 1 PM, until supplies run out. Residents must bring their own shovels.

Lafourche Parish:
The below sandbag locations will be opening tomorrow, Wednesday, July 16th at 1PM and will stay open until further notice. For self-fill sites, please bring your own shovel. The elderly and disabled will be able to pick up 25 prefilled bags per address at our Field Offices only. Sandbags will not be delivered.

Due to the anticipated heavy rainfall, the City of Thibodaux has sand and sandbags available at the Public Works Barn, located at 219 Henry S. Thibodaux Street, for residents to fill as needed. Residents are asked to bring their own shovels, since it is a self-serve station.

St. Bernard Parish:
In preparation for the expected severe weather, St. Bernard Parish Government is opening self-service sandbag sites starting today, July 16th at 10:30 AM.

Shovels will be provided, however residents should be prepared to fill and load their own sandbags. We ask that each household take no more than 12 sandbags.
St. James Parish:
With the possibility of several inches of rain and the flash flood risk coming this week, our crews have been taking proactive steps to prepare and keep our parish safe, and we encourage you to do the same for your home and family. Sandbags are available at two locations. You must bring your own shovel to fill your bags. Sandbag locations will open on July 16th, 2025, at 1:00pm, and will remain open.

St. Charles Parish:
Sandbag locations will open for St. Charles Parish residents only at the West Bank Bridge Park (13825 River Rd., Luling) and the East Regional Library (160 W. Campus Dr., Destrehan) beginning the afternoon of Wednesday, July 16, 2025.
Residents should only take what they need and bring their own shovels and proof of residency.
Residents should check on elderly and homebound neighbors to ensure they are prepared and offer to bring sandbags to those who cannot get to the stations.
