If you’ve got outdoor plans this Fourth of July, you’re in luck — most of the day looks dry across southeast Louisiana.
High temperatures will climb into the mid-90s, and with the humidity, it’ll feel more like 100 to 105 degrees.
While a few isolated storms could develop in the afternoon or early evening, most neighborhoods will stay dry. Any storms that do form will be quick to fade after sunset.
Looking ahead to the weekend, rain chances will slowly increase. Scattered afternoon storms become more likely Saturday and Sunday, with about a 30–40% chance each day. Temperatures will stay hot, with highs in the low to mid-90s and steamy conditions continuing into next week.
