Cinnaholic, the nationally known vegan cinnamon roll bakery, is opening its first Louisiana location in New Orleans. The newest shop is set to open its doors at 4921 Freret St., offering customizable, plant-based cinnamon rolls and other sweet treats.
Locally owned by husband-and-wife duo Keiyanah and Matthew Ratleff, Cinnaholic New Orleans marks the couple’s first venture into business ownership. The Ratleffs discovered the brand during the COVID-19 pandemic and were immediately drawn to its unique twist on a beloved dessert.
“We were immediately drawn to Cinnaholic because it’s completely customizable; it’s a sweet treat you can make entirely your own,” said Keiyanah Ratleff.
“There’s nothing like it in our community, and we believe that New Orleans is going to fall in love with Cinnaholic’s ‘designer cinnamon rolls,'” added Matthew Ratleff.
To celebrate the opening, guests can enjoy one of Cinnaholic’s signature cinnamon rolls for just $2 during the grand opening event. The promotion is limited to one roll per guest.
Cinnaholic’s menu includes more than 20 frosting flavors and over 20 topping choices, giving customers endless combinations to design their perfect cinnamon roll. In addition to the classic roll, the bakery offers cookies, brownies, baby buns and customizable cinnamon roll cakes called “Cinnacakes.”
All products are 100% vegan — free of dairy, lactose, eggs and cholesterol — making Cinnaholic a popular option for customers with dietary or allergy concerns. The bakery also offers catering services for weddings, corporate events and more.
Cinnaholic’s director of marketing, Daniel Aldrich, shared his excitement about expanding into Louisiana, stating, “Our team is dedicated to sharing sweet treats made with the highest quality ingredients. We are excited to open our first location in Louisiana and continue our mission nationwide.”
Cinnaholic now has over 90 locations across the U.S. and continues to grow with its unique take on a classic dessert.
