The Home Builders Association of Greater New Orleans (HBAGNO) is hosting its 2025 Parade of Homes, presented by James Hardie, Orleans Furniture and OnPath Credit Union. The event gives prospective buyers, renovators, and curious homeowners the chance to explore 16 newly built homes from 14 builders across the metro area.
The parade offers a firsthand look at today’s top home design trends — from flexible, multifunctional floor plans to stylish outdoor living areas. Homes on the route also feature updated lighting, fixtures and appliances. Experts from the building, design, lending and real estate industries will be on hand to answer questions and offer personalized guidance.
Visitors can tour homes in person from 1-5 p.m. on June 21-22 and June 28-29. After the in-person tours wrap up, select homes will be available for virtual viewing beginning July 31 via Matterport 3D on the New Orleans Parade of Homes mobile app and the HBAGNO website. The app includes pricing, builder details, directions and sponsor info, and allows users to vote for their favorite features.
This year’s homes are located throughout the Greater New Orleans area, including Lakeshore Subdivision, The Parks of Plaquemines, Marrero, Place Pontchartrain, Old Metairie, Beverly Knoll, Louisiana Trace, Live Oak Manor, Fairgrounds Triangle, and Gabriel in Kenner.
In addition to the parade, HBAGNO supports the 2025 St. Jude Dream Home®. Located at 425 Live Oak Street in Bucktown, the 2,768-square-foot home features 3 bedrooms and 2.5 bathrooms and is valued at $700,000. It was built by Hyman L. Bartolo Jr. Contractors, Inc., with proceeds supporting St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
A full list of homes in the parade, including some available for purchase, can be found on the HBAGNO website or on the New Orleans Parade of Homes app. Printed programs are also available at participating homes. For updates, follow @HBAGNO on social media.
