Person struck, killed by train in B.W. Cooper neighborhood

The New Orleans Police Department is investigating after a person was struck and killed by a train Wednesday morning.

The person was struck on the Amtrak train tracks at the Norman C. Francis Boulevard overpass over Interstate 10.
