LSU baseball fans helped cheer on the team as they head to Omaha for the College World Series.
The send off happened Wednesday at the Alex Box Stadium.
The team left Baton Rouge at 9:15 a.m.
Fans also saw a larger-than-life Mike the Tiger float built by Kern Studios. The float helped send the team off and also make several appearances in Omaha ahead of the first game Saturday.
And for LSU fans going to Omaha, they will also have the chance to break their own record in Omaha at Rocco’s Pizza and Cantina.
During the 2023 College World Series, LSU fans bought 68,888 Jell-Os from the pizza restaurant and are now being invited back to do it again.
LSU secured their spot Sunday night when it swept West Virginia in the Baton Rouge Super Regional.
LSU will play Arkansas at 6 p.m. in Omaha.
