Bond has been set for a man accused of running into the back of a motorcycle killing two people and injuring two others.
According to court records, Joshua Stevens, 22, is being charged with two counts of vehicular homicide and two counts of vehicular negligent injury.
His bond has been set at $150,000.
The crash happened around 12:19 a.m. in the 7900 block of Almonaster Ave.
According to police, Stevens was driving his car at a high rate of speed when he ran into the back the victims’ motorcycle who were at a stop.
Police say the victims, a man and woman, were both pronounced dead on the scene.
The Orleans Parish Coroner identified the two killed as Summer Gaudet, 30, and Jeffery Watts, 39.
Two additional victims were taken to the hospital by EMS. Their conditions have not been released.
