Three people have been arrested in St. John the Baptist Parish after a months-long investigation.
The narcotics division in St. John began investigating Amandzo Williams, 43, in April 2025 for his involvement in the distribution of illegal narcotics in the area.
Williams has an arrest history including possession with the intent to distribute cocaine, possession with the intent to distribute marijuana, possession of cocaine, domestic abuse battery, flight from an officer, driving while intoxicated and more.
Detectives obtained search warrants for two homes in LaPlace, one located in the 1100 block of Heather Lane and another in the 100 block of Apricot Street.
The search was executed on May 30 and Williams, his cousin, Grant Williams, 55, and another person identified as Namoel Richardson, 42, were all arrested.
During the search, detectives found two guns, approximately 100 grams of crack cocaine, around 1,100 methamphetamine tablets, around 700 grams of marijuana and over $6,500 in cash.
Two cars were also seized by Amandzo Williams.
Amandzo and Grant Williams were both charged with possession with the intent to distribute cocaine, possession with the intent to distribute marijuana, possession of cocaine, possession of firearm with a CDS, possession of drug paraphernalia and transactions involving proceeds from CDS activity.
Amandzo is being held on a bond of $176,500. Grant is being held on a $201,500 bond.
Richardson was charged with possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of cocaine and bond was set at $6,500.
