The Batman hits theaters on March 4th of 2022 and based on the trailers we’ve seen so far, it seems dark dude. Like way dark. There’s a reason behind that though!
When director Matt Reeves was writing the first act, he said he had 1991’s Something In The Way by Nirvana playing in the background when it occurred to him that, “rather than make Bruce Wayne the playboy version we’ve seen before, there’s another version who had gone through a great tragedy and become a recluse.” he said in an interview with EMPIRE.
