Brief Description of Activity
1 Mentoring Program In February 2018 we participated in a community collaborative with the Urban League Louisiana School Expo a progressive school choice event for Parents and students in the greater New Orleans Region.

The Urban League Louisiana is a historic organization with a mission to support civil rights, community empowerment, economic development and social justice.

 

 

2 Mentoring Program In April 2018 we participated in a community collaborative with the New Orleans Entrepreneur Week coordinated with the Idea Village, Tulane University Freeman Business School is a week-long series of business programs and networking opportunities. The Idea Village is an entrepreneur engagement organization in New Orleans.

 

3 Mentoring Program In June 2018 we continued our support for Give Nola Day to support efforts for business and community giving to diverse non-profit groups that provide community initiatives for children and family development. The Greater New Orleans Foundation connects donations to support community programs to help build sustainable and positive futures.

 

4 Mentoring Program In August 2018 we joined the community music and cultural summit of the Satchmo Community Summerfest. The inspiration of Jazz as an American art-form of music provides educational and performance features to people from across the country in recognition of the cultural contributions of the legendary Louis Armstrong.

 

The Louis Armstrong Foundation supports diverse education, mentoring and performance guidance to youth music and the Jazz Arts community.

 

5 Mentoring Program In October 2018 we participated in a lecture series regarding New Orleans UNCF Education platforms and the cultural benefits of HBCU New Orleans University programs. The UNCF is a community support and fundraising organization designed to support University level financial and education opportunities for students
